Pastors Edwin and Charlotte Popó
Ministerial Journey
In September 1990, in his native country of Colombia, Pastor Edwin Popó began what would become a lifelong ministry journey. A few years later, he settled in Ecuador, establishing strong ministries in various cities. Alongside his wife, Pastor Charlotte, they pursued the pastoral and missionary calling God had placed within them, reaching and impacting lives with the power of the Holy Spirit. Nearly 1,000 disciples and 5,000 new believers were born as a result of their work.
In October 2001, following a calling from God, they moved to the island of the Dominican Republic. For 10 faithful years, they served in ministry, where the glory of God was continually manifested. Their love for people has always defined them, which is why after the 2010 Haiti earthquake, they were among the first to respond—bringing food and medicine to those affected in less than 72 hours.
God &apos s plan continued to unfold, leading them to El Salvador in 2011. It is here they currently reside, having founded the RIO Family Christian Church, a growing church becoming a reference point for an entire nation. God continues to use them powerfully in healing, miracles, and family restoration. Without a doubt, the best is yet to come for these servants of God.
